HELP BUILD AN EMERGENCY FIELD HOSPITAL IN PALAKHAT, KERALA
India is in the grip of COVID-19 and is faced with the worst humanitarian crisis in its history. The sheer magnitude of the Pandemic has brought unimaginable suffering to millions and there is a desperate need for medical supplies across the country. It is literally a matter of life and death.
It is in such times of unprecedented challenges that the compassion and the resolve of human spirit is put to test. MAUK would like to make a meaningful contribution to relieve the suffering of families worst affected. Since the Government of India has lifted restrictions to import medical supplies, we are hoping to provide both medicinal supplies and PPE equipment to areas in dire need. NORKA Roots, a Kerala Government undertaking, has solicited the support of MAUK. We will be supporting victims in worst affected areas under the guidance of the District Collectors Office. Our humble efforts might be a drop in the ocean but we are reminded that the ocean is made of many drops, and even one life saved is worth our efforts. Our initial initiatives are to support the building of a field hospital in Pattambi in Palakkad, supply medicine and food for the needy and provide PPE & Covid Test kits for volunteers
