Cultural Newham – Celebrating the vibrant multiculturalism of Newham through the folk and traditional dances and music of its diverse communities.

The event will have two segments.

Part 1: Dances of Newham
A stage show, which will showcase different dance genres that are represented in Newham with a prominent focus on Bharathanatyam.

Part 2: Sounds of Newham
A dance floor with a live  DJ, highlighting the influence of ethnic music, promoting the vibe of inclusiveness and attracting people from different cultures to dance along to an entire spectrum of ethnic musical genres.
The DJ will collaborate with the MAUK Percussion team to perform live instrumental music alongside the dance tracks to deliver a unique and inspiring musical experience.

Entry to the Auditorium is via the Church Road gate.

The school has a large car park which can be accessed from Church Road.

Bus Route 147 from Ilford and East Ham runs approximately every 7 minutes. It stops right outside the school.

Routes 86, 25 & 425 run through Romford Road very frequently. It’s a 10 minutes walk from the stop at school.
