| Calling all sports enthusiasts | MAUK Badminton Competition 2010Malayalee Association of The UK's (MAUK) annual Badminton Doubles competition is to be held on Saturday 13 March 2010 at Wanstead Leisure Centre, Redbridge Lane West, Wanstead, London, E11 2JS at 9.30 am.
MAUK is re-introducing the Ladies Doubles competition, co-ordinated by Sutha Sathiadas. This year’s categories in the Badminton Doubles competitions are Men’s, Women’s and under 16’s. Winners and runners up will be awarded with rolling trophies at the close of the event.

 | Haiti Disaster : Charity Fund Raise
Malayalee Association of the UK (MAUK) organised a fund raising event for the victims of the Haiti earthquake, on Saturday 30 January 2010, at Kerala House. MAUK collected around £1000 on the day of the event and MAUK will keep collecting the relief fund until 7th Feb. Money raised will be donated to ShelterBox, an international disaster relief charity specialising in emergency shelter provision, and used for immediate relief.MAUK sincerely thanks to everyone who participiated and making it a big success in raising fund towards a good cause.
